How can it be spring?

Not that I’m not grateful; I totally am. I’m happy for longer days after changing time last weekend, and I’m very happy for warmer temperatures. I just can’t believe that the days have passed so quickly and that it has been almost two months since my last blog post!

We’ve been busy beavers around here lately. We’re working on a totally new yarn line that I think you’re all going to love, and I can’t wait to share it with you in early summer. We’re planning new colors for some of our lines. And we’re working on patterns galore that we’ll be posting in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, we’ve put Dream on sale, just in time to crochet our new Spring Chickie project. Dream is a great yarn, and it’s one of my favorites in the Premier line. The 100% acrylic fiber is very soft and is, of course, machine washable and dryable. Dream is ideal for garments for everyone in the family, is the best for soft, cuddly afghans, and as you can see with Chickie, Dream is wonderful for toys.

As for Chickie, she’s a quick-stitch kind of girl. You’ll be able to complete her in an evening, and we think she’ll be an ideal addition to Easter treat baskets. She’ll also be a fun baby gift; her eyes are embroidered so there’s no worry of them coming off in baby’s mouth. Crochet her in pink, blue, green or a traditional yellow. You’ll find a color you love in Dream!

It’s easy to order online: click on the colors you like, enter the quantity, enter the discount code SPR10 at checkout and you’re good to go. And don’t forget, if you order over $100 in any combination of yarns, shipping is absolutely free!

Happy spring; hope you’re enjoying warmer weather!

Vicki

@ Joanne - Hi Joanne. I apologize for the delay in getting this pattern book on our website. Apparently it involves quite a bit of redesign in the behind-the-scenes function of the site. Who knew? Our webmaster assures me he is working on this and that the pattern books will be listed soon. I'll put up a blog post when they are available. Thanks for your continued interest!

I wrote back in January regarding the afghan pattern that Drew Emborsy designed with the Serenity Yarn. You had mentioned that the pattern / book would be posted soon for purchase. I haven't seen anything -- hope I didn't miss it.
PS: Sorry if this is a duplicate posting. I wrote under the previous topic and my question didn't post. Thanks!

Hi ... I noticed the pattern books are available -- I just purchased both! Thanks -- can't wait to receive them.
