    Violet Ombré

I crochet beanies & was excited to try this yarn. It’s definitely very soft. But for some reason it works up very differently than other yarns I frequently use. I definitely need to go up a hook size to reach the needed measurements/ stitch count. I’ve only made two beanies so far. The first turned out small/ medium adult and would probably be better for a teen/ preteen size. The second attempt in another pattern was better fitting. The results look smaller than they are but the beanies are very stretchy compared to the same pattern in another brand. Definitely some trials to find the correct hook size for my projects in my experience. Other than that the colors are beautiful & I will definitely be adding the other shades soon to my stash of yarn. Great price & a lot of yards. I imagine these ombre yarns would make great blankets, shawls, cardigans.
