    Fruitful knitting

    This is a smooth, matte yarn with a cottony feel. I knit a pair of fingerless mitts and a pair of wristies from one 50 gram skein. The prints make it fun to knit. I used a #2 needle, but a #1 might be better, especially for socks. Fruits knits easily, with good stitch definition and visibility. I really wish it came in solid colors. I had tangling trouble with the first skein, so wound the second into firm balls: two, because I knit two at a time, wrist up. A truly nice yarn, and not just nice for the price.
