I felt like a kid in a candy store when I pulled these bad boys out of my shipment! Not only are they HUGE but the quality doesn’t seem to have suffered for selling in such bulk. BUT be aware this is *THIN* chenille yarn.

At first glance, the size of each cone seems to vary. As some seem to have either more yarn or were rolled with less tension or could even possibly have thinner/thicker strands. In the 4th picture, I used a 3.5 mm hook, chained 10 and did a row of single crochet to see how it works up so I could share my thoughts with you.

So far, no shedding, it seems to be strong and soft. I’m pretty sure it’s going to work up to the same size of a finished acrylic yarn project as far as “finished dimensions” will go buy I’ll come back and let you know how use goes. *added a 2fl oz acrylic paint bottle for scale*

I will say the yarn was a little thinner than expected but it comes with a lot of yarn. Perfect for a blanket project. In my opinion, the yarn has more of a velvety feel than really a chenille. The yarn glimmers beautifully in the sunlight and is perfect for photo shoots!
