I've been using the watermelon yarn to make bracelets for Palestine (dating back to the late 60s, the Israeli govt outlawed the Palestinian flag, so they began using the watermelon in protest). I use all sc stitches and it works up flawlessly - there's no splitting. It's comfortable against the skin and holds up well to washing machine (garment bag, cold cycle). For this bracelet, I added stripes of green, white, black and red in Hobbii's 8/4 cotton. It's slightly thicker but works well with this yarn using a smaller hook.

I love the Fruits group of yarns! Totally wash/dry safe and feel amazing! I have several different ones and can't wait to get to them all. The watermelon is especially pretty.

I loved knitting socks with it. Its really soft and comfortable.

I'm still very new to knitting, especially socks (though, hilariously, socks are some of the first projects I've ever finished!) and this yarn was a great starting point. It doesn't really slide around too much on my needles and has some decent stretch to it - plus, as an added bonus, I somehow managed to end up with the exact right gauge using the size of needles listed!

Yarn was easy to work with and the watermelon pattern came out perfect the entire sock. Only wish you had more “fruity” design patterns
