Correction: Hook size for my previous review on the lemon popcorn afghan

Correction: In my previous review, I think I said I used a size 8 crochet hook for the lemon popcorn afghan. I used an 8 MILLIMETER crochet hook.

The lemon crochets to look like super-soft buttered popcorn!

I bought two bags of the lemon. I chained 82 and used a size 8 hook to do all half double crochet, with one chain at the end of each row. The two bags made an afghan that is about 40 x 50" and that looks for all the world like SCRUMPTIOUS BUTTERED POPCORN. Not for extreme beginners in my opinion because, since the yarn is a super bulky chenille, it takes some patience to establish the first 3 or so rows by feel. But after that, the spaces between the stitches reveal themselves for crocheting into -- and it's easy, fun, hard-to-stop crocheting with a truly beautiful and super-soft result!
