Blocking makes your lace (even more)
beautiful! Follow the steps below to learn
how to do it.
How to Block Lace:
1. Stitch.


2. Soak.
Use warm water and wool wash or a mild shampoo.
3. Remove.
Gently Squeeze (do not wring) excess water out, Roll in a towel, and press. If using, thread blocking wires through edges of the piece.


4. Block.
Using wires and/or pins, stretch piece to open lace, often directions will tell you to "block to finished measurements," so grab your tape measure.
5. Let Dry.
Remove Pins and blocking wires.


6. Admire.
Check out your gorgeous work!
