Sock yarn sort of grabs but easily slides. My yarn slips and slides on my more expensive brand of circulars. I think these will result in a more even tension. I am very happy with these circular needles for magic loop

Very easy to use.

First of all, each size is a different color, which makes them MUCH easier to sort. They are study, but light weight, don't tire your hands at all.

I have bought multiples. My only criticism is the cord is a tiny bit stiff, but I'm not sure having it looser would be helpful. This way they are easier to put away.
