Hi y'all! So I bought this in the black and seafoam colors and I absolutely love this yarn for amigurumi! I've used several types of this yarn and this one is by far my favorite for small projects! It isn't that slippery and holds very well! This has become my personal go to for anything amigurumi or embroidery for eyes and noses 🩷 I highly recommend this yarn for my amigurumi family 🫶

I love this yarn for Amigurumi dolls. The yarn is high quality and wonderful to work with. Also comes in a lot of nice colors. Way more affordable than other brands.

I was looking for a fine yarn for an amigurumi project that would be a gift for my adult daughter. I wanted it to be mostly cotton, soft, easy to work with, not break the bank, and bright colors. Most of all, I needed a red! Minikins had the perfect color red. I have made many amigurumi projects in the past and wish I had known about Minikins. It would have saved me time and headaches since this yarn has many colors and ball sizes--especially the popular colors coming in the larger sizes. It works up well crocheting smoothly with not much splitting and I have yet to find any knots piecing the yarn together.

I would have posted a picture of my on-going project, but my husband's dog got ahold of it and shredded it. I need to purchase another skein of Shell.
